HEALTH PROTOCOLS
Travel Safely with Confidence
Worldwide Quest has received the World Travel and Tourism Council’s Safe Travels stamp, which provides our travellers with the assurance that we have implemented health and safety protocols that are aligned with WTTC’s Safe Travels Protocols.
We can all do our part to ensure a safe, healthy, and enjoyable environment on this tour. Your Worldwide Quest Tour Manager together with local partners will accompany the group to monitor adherence to safe travel protocols.
Please note that these protocols may be amended to conform with current government regulations and guidance and safe travel protocols. Any information regarding government travel requirements and public health advisories is informational only and can change rapidly; guests are responsible for confirming and meeting country entry/exit eligibility requirements as they are updated by applicable governments, including vaccination and COVID-19 testing requirements.
Travellers
All guests on this tour are required to be fully vaccinated with three doses of an approved vaccine. This ensures that the whole group can participate fully in all meals and activities including in locations that may have local mandatory vaccination requirements.
As new information becomes available, the Health and Safety Protocols below will be updated. Further details will be provided in your Travel Documents prior to departure.
AMAWaterways requires all guests to complete an online Health Questionnaire no later than 21 days prior to the start of the tour.
While on tour, all participants, leaders, and local partners will:
Properly wear a well-fitting medical mask when in a shared space (indoors or outdoors) when requested by the tour leader.
Practice hand hygiene and proper respiratory etiquette.
Medical Insurance with Emergency Evacuation Coverage is mandatory on this tour. Details of your coverage must be provided to Worldwide Quest in advance of travel. We urge all tour guests to ensure that they have adequate cancellation and interruption insurance for this tour should an unexpected event require that you cancel or interrupt your trip.
Depending on the government of Egypt’s COVID-19 current protocols, some normally offered travel amenities may not be available on all parts of the tour, i.e., resorts are unable to help with luggage and parts of the resort may be closed.
Tour guest contact information (name and telephone or email) will be shared if requested by activity providers in accordance with local regulations or you may be asked to provide this information directly to activity providers.
If a tour guest becomes ill while on the tour Worldwide Quest will assist the guest in obtaining medical care. Guests should also contact their travel insurance provider, so please make sure to have insurance contact details with you. Depending on local protocols, you may be required to self-isolate for a time and may be allowed to rejoin the group following a negative COVID test and as logistics allow. In all cases, Worldwide Quest will provide support; however, you are responsible for any expenses related to complying with local protocols including expenses related to self-isolation, medical services, transportation, and accommodation.
